Whitney Hopkins Blog Post 3

1. Unity is found among the entire window display. With the unity of all of the objects together, it is easy to gather a sense of one where the clothes, accessories, and small house decor comes together.
2. Harmony is found through out each small piece. Each accessory and garment work well with each other. All together the items are able to compliment one another.
3. Balance is the set up of the window. The mannequins and raised items on the outside are balanced looking the same on both sides.
4. Repetition has been placed within the window in color stories such as the corals and mint greens.
5. Rhythm allows this window to be easily viewed by the consumer. With the flow of the objects throughout the window display our eyes move left to right across.
6. Emphasis is put on the clothing of the mannequins. The mannequins have the most direct sight within the windows.
7. Contrast is found within the color story also, the corals and mint greens contrast each other which make them both stand out.
8. Surprise comes from the amount of merchandise in the window for how tiny the store really is. The customers are able to say, 'wow, there is that much in there!'
