Love's In Class Activity week #7

This is a basic planogram, in retail they tend to be more visual

The job I was givent o research is that of the presentation specialist/adjacency specialist (I had to look up "adjacency") I found a few job listings and from those were able to get a jist of what the job is all about. Basically it is the presentation specialist's job to drive sales through the implementation and maintenance (switching out weekly/monthly) of all visual merchandising and in store marketign programs. You will work witht he rest of the store team to ensure the presentations are based on current trends and business needs. Partners with store management to see that the visuals are consistent and timely. The requirements seem to be at least an associates degree, previous visual merchandising experience in retail, excellent customer service and sales skills. Good working habbit with both management team and staff  as well as excellent planning and organizational skills. They expect all of this for around 9$/hr , but of course you can work your way up teh chain of command with personal and professional growth! Location is not really that important for this position. I was not able to find any person who excelled in this career, although I am sure there are many, and they now have moved on to bigger & better jobs.
