Dragana 3

Down Town Saint Augustine
"Saint George Dinnerware"

This window display was so eye catching. Everything possible that you will need to set up your dining room table to comfort your family will be available to purchase in this store. To me this window looked balanced and completed. There was not much more that you can place in this display. It had it all! Conch shells placed on the ladder was very interesting. Showing connection with the sea, shear light blue fabrics were spread like waves and connected to a ladder showing visible unity and still keeping the store brand image. This visual presentation shows informal balance – asymmetrical. They were using store products of any shape and size to create this visual balance. Color and different shapes balance together to show visual rhythm. By looking at this window display your eye will travel along the path of repeated items. Special focus in this presentation shows soft lightning on the fully covered dining room table. The rest of the display was darker (for contrast.) Surprise! Mannequin dressed in an ivory/red apron was displaying merchandise category with a color story (red- for love). This window has great power to influence and get shoppers attention. It definitely got mine.

This is a picture of me before going to school one morning. This outfit is able to scream laid back spring but with business, prim, and proper feel to add. I was able to merchandise this outfit in ways to appeal to different audiences. My customers would be attracted by the simpleness of spring. The sheer white shirt that flows and working with almost all body types making it very easy to wear. The flower printed denim shorts give that laid back feeling but are able to give the other plain garments a little edge to them. The blazer adds a more professional feel and layers to give the outfit some depth

Cocoa Couture Contest ... I designed a Bridal Cocoa Couture.Im so exiceted to start sewing.... :)

Back to School!!!

The Pottery Barn Kids at the Millenia Mall was one of the displays that I love and thought was really interesting because they use rulers as a background, as their theme was back to school. It was a innovated way to grab the attention of the costumers that was at the mall.

The Zara Store shows the unity and same type of clothing for the mannequins.
Bebe just rock this display as this woman is a woman on the go , the background is London just a reminder of the Olympics that was there too.

This is the window display of Pacsun at the loop. The visual in the display is them showing off their jeans. The layout was even on btoh sides of the display by using the same format but the diffrent sides of the window vary because of styles. The left side of the windown display was womens jeans and the right side was mens jeans, they show all the shades of denim for both men and women.

The Unity –  The merchandiser used this by combining the colors to catch your eyes. One way to catch kids and adults attention is to use something that seems out of the ordinary. By using the “M&M” shape and filling it with candy it’s an eye catcher.

The Harmony – the harmony of the store has bright colors all over which brings your eyes to follow all around the store. They have it set up to where there is enough open space to follow all around without feeling cluttered.

The Balance of the store – The Merchandiser has the store setup with a very comfortable vibe. One thing that is interesting was bringing in the “nascar” or race car into the store, with the logo of “m&m” on it.  It’s more than just a candy store, it even gave parents an enjoyment of walking in. There kids can see all different types of things rather than just chocolate. They have T-shirts on the wall, which you can see from outside the store.

The Repetition – when looking at the display, it’s a constant “M&M” shape with five different colors. It has the same thing going from one side to the other without change.  The only change is the color and the candy that’s filled inside. Other than that the shape remains the same which is easy on the eyes.

The Rhythm – it has a “walk-in” feeling.  They have the music loud enough to catch your attention, and it almost feels like you’ve been in there for a few minutes and those minutes turn into a half hour, or an hour.  It has a very relaxed environment feeling.

The Emphasis – the emphasis of the room has very little stress, It’s a very calming and relaxing to shop around and browse. Little children are usually walking around with smiles, and just want to touch everything.  There is very little glass around the store in children’s reach so it’s a safe and protected environment for kids of all ages.

The Contrast – There are colors all over the wall and with the colors on display,  they balance each other out. It can be dark on one side and light on the other. It’s easy on the eyes because it’s not looking out of place. Light colors with light, and dark with dark.  It almost gives you a feeling as if you know where you want to start and where you should end.

The surprise – the whole store feels like a surprise.  When thinking of just a chocolate store, you expect chocolate to be all over, but not this one.  It’s different in its own way. They could have made it a basic store, but that wouldn’t have caught everyone’s attention. When people are walking around the mall and they see 5 colored M&M’s they will most likely laugh and be almost dragged into the store with curiosity. The store is very appealing. It’s an eye catcher.

American Ealge Outfitters

1. Unity - It is easy to understand the message that is stated in the window. The eagle showing as "V" draws me to the jeans in the center.
2. Harmony - The color blue represented in the jeans, hanging and folded on the sides.
3. Balance - The merchandise is simply displayed by hanging or folded.
4. Repetition - All the jeans are repeated at the lower waist of the models. Keeping your eye focused on the selling item.
5.Rhythm - The eagle pulls us in and the center jeans are viewed first and are eye drawn from center out.
6. Emphasis - The middle display pops out because the pattern matches the eagles wings.
7. Contrast - The middle jeans blends with the eagles wings taking your attention to the two models. The solid colors contrast with the powerful jean in the center.
8. Surprise - Comes from the statement "Live Your Live." I know that is why I chose this display. I wanted to see maybe there is something that is worth purchasing to put a little life into my closet.
