Failed painter Gene Moore became famous creating eye-catching fantasies in the windows of Tiffany & Co. at New York City. Working without a budget with unlimited access to the store’s treasures; this man made merchandise work for him. He definitely thought outside of the box, and what is amazing is how someone could find inspiration absolutely everywhere from Euclidean geometry to spaghetti noodles and never run out of ideas. He was a genius in manipulating light and color creating his unique window designs, making them unforgettable. His favorite color was light blue just like everything today at Tiffany’s. Don’t we all (Women) love the blue box…. :-)
