This is the inside seam of the skirt. This is two black plastic bags sewn together. ^
^The plastic bags have this extra part to tie-off the bags when putting your garbage in it, so I just cut it off to give it a straight hem.
^This is half of my skirt that is done, I just pinned it on my sister to get a good look of how long it is. My sister is 5’9, so she’s tall and works perfect as a model.
^This is me sewing the two plastic bags together. It was easier then I thought to pass it through the sewing machine. The only problem is that the bags are slipper so I have to hold them tightly.
