Blog Post 8....Brittany

The infamous mop dress has taken us a lot of time. From the beginning we had to find donations for the many mops that we needed. Then came the dying process, where things did not go as planned. For the reason that the dress was supposed to be black but for some reason when dyed they came out purple. So we decided to work with the change and we continued working on our purple Christmas dress. We had to re-size the dress because it was way to big for a size 8 mannequin. I am now working on coming up with a whole new idea for the trees in our display background because these trees were supposed to be mop string to go along with the dress , but choosing mops to do a couture gown has proven to be expensive and so to cut costs we are looking at other less expensive alternatives.
