Time is running out and this mop dress is finally coming to life with the help of 3 other students who have been putting in work with me on this dress. i have finished hand sewing the top after hours and hours ! im excited to see the outcome of this dress and im so glad its coming out like i visioned it ! a couple of things changed from my original idea, like the dress, it ended up turning purple instead of black and some mop strings are black and some are purple so we decided to come up with an "ombre" look and also are visuals we figured it would be less time consuming if we didnt fill the trees with mops because we were running out and the process of dying and drying would take a full 2-3 days and we only have 1 week left ! but today we plan on putting the bodice to the skirt with the zipper before the dress gets a little too heavy ! i cant wait for the outcome of this dress.
