Here is a Tiffany & Co. window diplay by Gene Moore in 1959. It was a Valentines theme as you can see the diamond hearts at the bottom of the display along side the yarn. It is said that Moore used red yarn although the photo is in black and white. I really am fasinated by the floating hands idea that Moore does in his displays. The fact that they look to be in motion like this one that is knitting is rather fanciful, and I believe such a display could be used today.
