Hello I'm Kat and I am twenty-one years old. I am the current show director for the UCF chapter of Faces Modeling Troupe Inc.. I follow street fashion daily and am very intrigued by what the streets of my city and different cities are wearing. I hope to follow my dream once I graduate from the International Academy of design and technology and enter the magazine industry and grow within that portion of the fashion industry.

According to my plan I wanted to make a necklace out of disposable spoon, but I haven't had enough time so I decided to make a flower out of the target plastic bags as my props. It came out pretty good. I really wanted to make my skirt like floor length long ;)
Thank you Ms. Chelsea and girls! It was pretty busy 10 weeks but I learned so many new things. Hope I will see you guys in other classes. Have a good one week break you all!

On week 9 I still had quite a bit of work to do. The hardest part, which was peeling off the outer layers of the cardboard, was behind me. I now need a manicure to fix the nail damage done during the process.
I still have to sew more cardboard onto the strips of fabric and then sew them onto the skirt. Then I have to figure out how to sew cardboard pieces to the corset. I also have to sew the zipper on the skirt and corset. And finally I need to ink around the letters Think to high light them better.

Finally! The "Think outside the box concept I had has taken life". What a relief. Now I have to clean up all the mess I made around the house with boxes and ribbon and paint. I have never done anything this intense. It was a challenge for me in many ways. But it was the kind of challenge that to me brought growth. I really learned so much from this project. If I had to do this again I definitely would not hesitate.
Here I proudly present the outcome of my hard work and stress.
